We are seeking an energetic and experienced **Shipping and Receiving Associate** with excellent attention to detail to join our team This position will report to the Production Supervisor.
**What you will do**
- Prepare bills of lading, invoices and other shipping documentation
- Prepare, package and schedule out-going shipments with transport companies
- Ship customer orders and branch transfers ensuring all required paperwork is complete and accurate
- Ensure accuracy and quality of orders being loaded
- Track shipments as required
- Receive, unload and sort orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Inspect and compare incoming orders against invoices, record shortages and/or defects
**What you have to offer**
- 1-2 years’ experience in shipping/receiving
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment with frequently changing dynamics
- Forklift license is an asset
- Self-motivated with the ability to work well independently
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Experience in using an ERP system an asset
- Licensed Fork Lift Operator preferred
