Armtec has the following career opportunity in **Cambridge, Ontario**:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Robotic Brake Press Operator to join our dynamic production team. As a Robotic Brake Press Operator, you will play a crucial role in operating our state-of-the-art automated presses and ensuring the production of high-quality products.

Reporting to the Production Foreman, you will have the opportunity to showcase your expertise in programming and operating the equipment, as well as contribute to equipment maintenance and quality control procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Operate and oversee the operation of our fully automated presses, utilizing programming to make necessary program changes to meet product specifications and quality standards.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and performance. Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any repairs or issues promptly.
- Implement and adhere to quality control procedures, including conducting inspections and completing relevant quality control documents.
- Collaborate closely with the Production Foreman and other team members to ensure smooth production processes, troubleshoot any operational issues, and promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience operating robotic brake presses in a manufacturing environment, an asset.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to conduct equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and quality control procedures accurately.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, communicate clearly, and collaborate with colleagues.
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification, Technical or vocational training in a relevant field is preferred.
