- Assist with grooming services, including nail trims and baths.
- Provide feeding, hydration, and medication administration as needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of kennels, play areas, and other facilities by performing regular cleaning tasks.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to the veterinary staff or management.
- Conduct solo walks for dogs, ensuring exercise and enrichment activities are met.
- Assist with customer service duties, including greeting pet owners and providing information about services offered.
- Ensure that all safety protocols are followed to protect both animals and staff.
- Help with the administration of medications as directed by veterinary staff.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills related to animal care and handling.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in an animal care setting is required
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required when handling large breeds or moving supplies.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with pet owners and provide exceptional care.
- A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their health and happiness.
- Maintain accurate records of pet care and activities.
- Communicate effectively with pet owners about their pets' experiences at the facility.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and multitask
- Knowledge in animal behavior an asset

This position is located at The Landing Pad, an extension of Parachutes for Pets.

**Shift Available**:
This is a Casual on Call Position.
Shifts will vary. This is a 24/7 Daycare and Boarding Facility.

Shifts will include
6am - 2pm
2pm - 10pm
10 pm - 6am
7am - 7pm
7pm - 7am

**Hire Timeline**: Immediately

**Job Type**: Casual

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour
