**RATE OF PAY**:$50,000 to $60,000

**JOB SUMMARY**:
The District Manager interacts with clients, site supervisors and commissionaires to direct all district level operations. The District Manager is the primary authority for administering every district site/contract. The District Manager is the primary authority for all district personnel within the confines of the Brockville area. The District Manager has a responsibility to ensure all employees (all sites) are employed in accordance with ESA standards. Additionally, the District Manager is the primary administrative authority (all employees/all sites) providing policy interpretation, direction, assistance, and direct support to the completion of all administrative functions including, but not limited to, scheduling, personnel administration, assessments and discipline, WSCFs, WSIB reporting, and processing leave requests.

This position is not conducive to working from home or away from the office.

- must understand ISO concepts and have knowledge of the security industry including understanding of best practices
- post-secondary diploma/degree in Business Administration or equivalent an asset
- security licence an asset

**REQUIRED SECURITY CLEARANCE**:
Secret Clearance (Minimum 10 consecutive years in Canada)

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- must represent the Commissionaires and the client professionally at all times including personal conduct, dress, and appearance,
- must read, remain current with, and follow all Commissionaires policies, Terms & Conditions of Employment and Health & Safety Standards Act,
- must read, remain current with, maintain, and follow all client & site SOPs/post instructions,
- must negotiate short term contracts with clients and Director of Business Development.
- must organize and participate in career events along with Human Resources and/or Enrollments personnel.
- must work with Human Resources in the interview process to select commissionaires and fill staffing requirements for all contracts in the district. Interview potential new hires and internal applicants for positions as needed.
- must ensure contractual requirements for staffing are met and communicate any shortfall in staffing to the DOps and engage with the client as required.
- must field calls from commissionaires (Unassigned spares, Site Supervisors, clients, and regional office staff).
- must conduct site visits, delivering equipment, picking up guard and incident reports, site kits, uniforms and distributing Service Awards. Complete ISO compliance checks (Uniform standards etc.) and address any concerns from guards. Must provide leadership and support to supervisors and make arrangements for lone worker call -ins.
- must generate probationary and annual assessments for all guards who have completed necessary probation hours and ensure site supervisors generate probation and annual assessments as required. Ensure annuals and passed and failed probation assessments are forwarded to Operations. Must generate positive performance reports
- must prepare, revise, and submit a current list of guards for after-hours call out and contact for work to the SOC as required. Must ensure scheduling software is up to date with employee information.
- must coordinate and assist in the preparation of Client SOPS and ensure site kits are created for pick up.
- must perform CPIC and CRJMC checks for newly enrolled guards, or guards needing to renew security guard licenses and assist guards with their security guard license renewals online to expedite the renewal process.
- must be knowledgeable with scheduling software and perform scheduling duties prepare schedules and timesheets. Ensure all available shifts have been covered as needed. Regularly review Sling to ensure the Site schedules are up to date and there is no unauthorized overtime and review all site supervisor’s timesheets as they are sent
