You will have global responsibility for crafting content and communicating the value proposition of Laboratory products through traditional and digital channels. You will drive product and vertical marketing initiatives - based on strong alignment with the various collaborators across organizations, to drive growth and business success.

Our aim is to provide life science laboratories across the world with solutions to automate their science. This individual will engage with customers and communicate how they can effectively automate their laboratory, improve their efficiency, and move towards the lab of the future.

**Position Summary**

The Marketing Communications Manager develops **marketing campaigns** for the Laboratory Automation portfolio of products. They will drive collateral creation including brochures, case studies, whitepapers, video, web, thought leadership, and sales enablement materials (presentations, battle cards, etc.) including developing and updating content to support new product introductions.

**A Day in the Life**:

- ** Working with creative agencies** to develop graphics and videos for digital and traditional marketing and partner with agencies to drive Voice of Customer across the product portfolio.
- Collaborating with marketing team members and digital marketing colleagues across Thermo Fisher Scientific and beyond to manage our social media and Google campaigns.
- Work with **digital marketing** teams to ensure best practice and drive standardization, stay current on evolving digital marketing methodologies and use analytics to provide insight and drive successful digital marketing campaigns.
- Lead the execution of **event participation** - support key meetings and conferences including seminars, user group meetings and strategic events.
- Collaborate with sales to find opportunities that will improve sales efficiency, and drive** lead qualification **and collaboration with Product Management on industry positioning.
- Work with **KOLs** to build engagement and drive co-marketing initiatives. The person should also be able to work with customers to build specialized content like scientific papers, KOL interviews, webinars, etc.

**Keys to Success**:
**Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field and/or Business Administration required

**Experience**:

- 7 years or more of direct related experience required
- Experience in B2B marketing, particularly laboratory solutions
- Experience in developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
- Experience working with external partners and agencies

**Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:

- Excellent communication ability (both written and verbal English) and influencing skills including the ability to communicate sophisticated concepts to a variety of audiences
- Support SEO keyword research to find opportunities to drive qualified traffic to web pages, align webpage hierarchies to the customer journey and develop and/or optimize content to present clear and logical information for the reader
- Analyze, track and report on the performance of the marketing initiatives
- An ability to work within a diverse, cross-functional, multi-location team
- Willing to travel approx.10% including internationally
