**The Opportunity**:
Reporting to the Clinical Director of Mental Health and Addictions (MHA) with cross functional accountabilities to the Director of Integrated Youth Services NS, the Clinical Manager is responsible for providing leadership and operational oversight for all collaborative community partnership services and provincial engagement across Nova Scotia. The MHA program has several community-based partnership services that are integrated in community organizations and work collaboratively with the MHA program. Integrated Youth Services (IYS) Nova Scotia is a model of community-based services and supports that offer young people aged 13-25yo and their caregivers health and wellness resources and mental health and addiction services and supports through in person, virtual and community outreach services within an integrated partnership model. IYS will remove barriers and increase access and coordination through a Provincial Network of integrated services for youth and their families. The MHA program will facilitate the development of eight IYS sites across Nova Scotia and are co-designed and community led.

The Clinical Manager is responsible for the management of internal and external relationships and the strategic relationship management with youth, families/caregivers, youth serving organizations, government departments, philanthropy and other key partners, ensuring the organization’s engagement and collaboration throughout the MHA program and IYS-NS. The Clinical Manager will also provide leadership and operational oversight to the inter-professional care team (s) to ensure the delivery of quality family centered care in collaboration with other Mental Health and Addictions staff. Accountabilities include the effective and efficient use of human, fiscal and material resources in the delivery of quality family centered care in collaboration with Physician/Clinician Co-Leader. The manager will efficiently and effectively meet care requirements; working in collaboration with the Quality Improvement Coordinators and Professional Development Coordinators to ensure that quality improvement and risk management activities are coordinated effectively and improvements implemented; working with the Professional Practice and staff to maximize participation in educational opportunities; mentor team members by supporting, role modeling and coaching in an effective manner; and support staff to resolve key clinical practice issues and improve operations.

**Hours of Work**:
Monday - Friday (37.5 hours per week). Flexible work hours required at times.

**Your Qualifications**:

- Masters Degree in a Health Profession required.
- Current registration with relevant health discipline college/association required.
- Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a related clinical role required.
- Minimum of two (2) years progressive leadership and management experience required.
- Demonstrated competency to engage people and lead teams required.
- Knowledge of engagement/partnership development frameworks.
- Expertise in developing and maintaining strategic partnerships. Above all, you have achieved these results through collaboration and well-honed project management skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in Mental Health and Addictions services preferred.
- Ability to design and implement transformational change through systems thinking and a continuous quality improvement framework
- Experience and training in cultural competence.

- Strong critical thinking, judgement and decision-making skills are required.
