**Job Summary**
- Dalhousie University’s Clinical Psychology PhD program, within the Department of Psychology and Neuroscience, Faculty of Science, is based on a scientist-practitioner model and is designed to give our graduates a thorough grounding in science, research and clinical practice. Reporting to the Clinic Co-Directors, the Clinic Manager will work with the clinic team consisting of psychologists, clinical psychology graduate students, allied health professionals (e.g., social work), and other support personnel.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manages daily operations of the Clinic, including ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to by staff and students.
- Leads and develops the annual budget. Manages and is accountable for the financial accounts, ensuring that all financial accounts are reconciled accurately.
- Assists Co-Directors and Program Evaluator with generation and submission of all progress reports to funders. Manages contracts and agreements associated with funders and community partners.
- Oversees management of the facility space, equipment, and IT; interacts with building management and IT as required.
- Makes recommendations to the Co-Directors for resource allocation when new budget needs arise.
- Contributes to recruitment and hiring procedures and performance reviews of staff and students as requested by co-Directors.

**Note**
Due to operational requirements, the successful applicant is required to work in-person on campus.

**Required Qualifications**
- Undergraduate degree in business administration, with approximately five years’ experience in organization management, financial administration or relevant area (or an equivalent combination of training and experience).
- Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, project management, and computer/technology skills.
- Knowledge of accounting and budget methods.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based, collaborative environment and must demonstrate enthusiasm and advocacy.

**Assets**
- Master’s degree in business or public administration, or similar area of study.
- Experience in a health-related field, direct client contact and supervision of staff.
