The City of Abbotsford’s Building Permits & Licences Division is seeking a self-motivated professional to join their team as a Permit & Licence Assistant II.

Your organization and time management skills will allow you to work effectively in this busy atmosphere. Your strong communication and relationship building skills will be essential as you provide information and assistance to the public and maintain effective working relationships with all stakeholders. Your ability to work independently, multi-task and take initiative will guide your success in this position.

**Qualifications Required**:
Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by an Applied Business Technology Certificate or equivalent.
Completion of a blueprint reading course.
Three years related experience including two years’ administrative support with building permit and business licence documentation and processes.

This position is unionized, CUPE Local 774, and the hourly rate of pay is from $29.83 to $35.07.
