Key points/ Highlights:

- Must have a minimum College Diploma/Certificate with a concentration in Business, Administration, or Business Analysis; or a certificate in Business Analysis (CBAP); or has relevant certification in Agile methodologies; or a combination of education and related experience in Information Technology, Public Administration, or the Financial sector with a minimum of 2 years experience in a Business Analyst role. An equivalent combination of related education and experience may be considered.
- Experience in the elicitation of requirements, as it relates to the software delivery lifecycle; or experience in Agile software delivery methods
- Should have a functional understanding of government or financial industries
- Should have a solid background in technical, research, and problem-solving skills
- Broad knowledge of Canadian mortgage policies and/or Banking and Mortgage insurance
- Should have demonstrated experience working in a team environment with technical support resources, business users and external partners
- Should have demonstrated ability to research issues, analyze problems, synthesize information, and make recommendations
- Bilingual with French and English

Assets:

- Behavior driven design methodologies, including writing and documenting feature files
- Experience working in an agile or hybrid-agile environment

Job description:

- Develop and document statements of requirements for considered alternatives
- Perform business analyzes of functional requirements to identify information, procedures, and decision flows
- Ability to write and document functional specifications, high level business requirements, user stories, and features
- Establish acceptance test criteria with client
- Develops and documents functional business requirements in collaboration with senior staff, clients, and IT.
- Maintains appropriate functional business system documentation and process documentation using the following tools: SharePoint, Visio, Azure DevOps
