Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, you will work towards position objectives at ever-increasing levels of responsibility relative to your training and experience.

This position is responsible for inventory control, receiving, handling, issuing and shipping incoming and outgoing supplies, tools, and equipment within the Stores department and requires you to be onsite at our 1340 Brant Street location.

**Core responsibilities**:

- Review, create and update work instruction process documents for the Purchasing & Stores department
- Implement stock location strategy in the warehouse/yard
- Develop process documents to align with the stock location strategy
- Integrate stock locations into iXp
- Execute cycle stock process with the Stockkeeper Assist with various stockroom and yard duties as directed by the Stockkeeper

**What we are looking for**:

- Enrolled in a recognized post-secondary educational institution; concentration in Supply Chain/Operations is an asset
- Knowledge of warehouse processes
- Process improvement interest/experience
- Development of formal work processes Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including reading comprehension, with the ability to communicate clearly in English
- Excellent interpersonal and customer relations skills; a good work ethic with a positive approach to work and co-workers; energetic and motivated with an excellent attendance record Possess and maintain a level of physical fitness essential to do the work
