Head of Quality Assurance

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Manage the department and implements plans and instructions to support departmental policies
- Maintain AS9100 audit qualification and governance, and any other customer or government qualifications
- Provide managerial and technical oversight of production quality assurance or inspection policies and procedures
- Lead root cause analysis & define corrective action plan
- Coordinate and conduct internal audits and ensure production continues to comply with all requirements
- Identify and complete process improvement projects related to achieving improved quality or efficiency
- Develop processes to identify and highlight quality trends and make recommendations on potential corrective actions
- Interpret and execute company policies and procedures; develop and improve procedures as required
- Ensure product quality by monitoring and measuring supplier performance and work to resolve all deficiencies
- Determine, schedule & provide on-site training to employees
- Liaise with Quality department in HQ in Austria for process alignment, training, and systems

**QUALIFICATIONS**
- Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Assurance and positions
- Experience in leading a team
- Knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100 TCCA, EASE, FAA and other quality systems preferred
- Knowledge of AMO requirements, TC and FAA documentation for conformity
- Experience managing, reporting and answering NCR/RNC’s
- Thorough knowledge of quality policies, procedures and all related technical data required
- Critical eye for identifying defects and attentive to details
- Excellent communication skills
