**Summary**:
Better Living Health and Community Services has an opening for a 1 Year Contract Part-Time position for a _Meals on Wheels Driver_. This position is responsible for delivering hot meals or frozen meals to isolated seniors living independently in the community. The Meals on Wheels Driver reports to the Manager, Community Access and Maintenance.
- A current valid G-Class Driver’s License and clean Drivers Abstract
- Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance
- Must have an interest in and commitment to helping seniors and disabled adults
- Access to an IOS or Android data-equipped smartphone
- Must have their own vehicle in good working and reliable condition
- Own Automobile Insurance with a Third Party Liability of no less than $1,000,000 + vehicle
- Provide reliable and timely meal delivery to clients in the community
- Deliver Meals with or without a runner
- Accurately follow outlined route sheet guidelines and instructions
- Report all concerns and changes in the client’s condition to the Meals on Wheel Manager immediately upon return from the delivery route
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks when driving a company vehicle
- Available weekends and stat holidays
- Work from 11:30 am-1:30 pm, Monday to Friday

**For any driver-driving agency vehicles**:

- Responsible for the day-to-day vehicle maintenance which includes: maintaining fluid levels and ensuring vehicle’s are fueled
- Conduct a daily circle check and report any damage maintenance issues that arise to the Transportation Coordinator
- Maintain the condition of the interior and exterior of all vehicles by keeping their vehicle clean and safe

**Salary**: $17.26 per hour

**Location**:80 Sheppard Ave W, North York, ON M2N 1M2 and or 1 Overland Drive, Toronto, ON M3C 2C3

**Job Type**: Part-time
