The Lokafyer role is an essential key to our company, since you will be the one welcoming our travelers to your city and showing them your passion about it, and provide them an insider perspective of the place you live. You are the one moving around with our amazing customers.

**HOW WE WORK**

At Lokafy, we believe that the best way to experience a city is through the eyes of a local. When travelers book a Lokafy experience, they provide us with information about their interests, preferences, and what they hope to discover in the city. We then match them with a compatible city host(Lokafyer) who shares their interests and can show them around the city like a local friend. Before the experience, the Lokafyer and the travelers have the opportunity to communicate and plan the itinerary together.

**Requirements**:

- A strong passion for your city and a deep knowledge of its culture, history, landmarks, and hidden gems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with travelers from diverse backgrounds and make them feel welcome.
- Proficiency in English is essential. Fluency in German, Spanish, French, Portuguese, and any other languages you are interested in offering tours in, is highly advantageous.
- A friendly and outgoing personality with the ability to create a comfortable and enjoyable experience for guests.
- Flexibility and availability to accommodate varying schedules and durations of experiences..
- Open to hosting various durations of experiences with different travelers, typically ranging from 2 to 8 hours.

**Job Type and Schedule**:

- This is a freelance role that offers flexibility in working days and hours.
- Hosts can choose their availability according to their schedules and preferences.

Please note: Payments are calculated according to the time and number of travellers they indicate at the moment of booking the tour. We pay by the hour based on the number of people in the group.
