We are currently recruiting for a Resource Manager to support our Toronto branch located in Oaksville, ON. We work on projects within the Commercial, Public, Energy and Industrial markets which includes, but is not limited to structural concrete repair, historic restoration, building envelope and facade repair, waterproofing, corrosion control and strengthening.

As the Resource Manager, you will support operations by providing technical expertise to the operational teams, supporting the project planning process, building collaborative relationships with operational leaders as well as supporting the incident management process.

Below provides a brief description of anticipated roles and responsibilities:
Resource Manager Duties
- Builds a mutually respectful relationship with Field Management and Project Teams by collaborating with them to create efficient and effective process systems to meet the demands of their construction projects.
- Builds synergies with other branches and helps develop consistent processes within the entire Structural Group Resource Management Team.
- Conducts or arranges for worker training in safety, repair, and maintenance techniques, operational procedures, or equipment use.
- Develops, implements, and evaluates maintenance policies and procedures.
- Develops and implements predictive/preventative maintenance programs and computer management systems to track and monitor these programs.
- Directs shop efforts during mobilization and de-mobilization process on construction projects.
- Ensures equipment is serviced 100% and job ready when it leaves shop.
- Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to construct templates and lay out reference points for workers.
- Investigates incidents, accidents, and injuries and prepares reports of findings.
- Meets with vendors and suppliers to discuss products used in repair work.
- Monitors tools and part inventories and the condition and maintenance of shop to ensure adequate working conditions.
- Participates in project pre-planning.
- Participates in budget preparation and administration, coordinating purchasing and documentation, and monitoring departmental expenditures. Provides direction, advice and insight for equipment needs throughout business planning process.
- Requisitions materials and supplies, such as tools, equipment, and replacement parts.
- Purchases tools, equipment, and vehicles.
