**Business Analyst**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct meeting with clients and key stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze, finalize, and receive formal signoffs from approvers
- **Translate **requirements into **Business Requirement Document [BRD]**, **Functional Requirement Document [FRD] and/or Minor Development Document [MDD]**
- Facilitate and drive project meetings with both business and technology teams
- Work closely with and support business, program, and project manager in the execution of key priorities, including by assisting in the management
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with business user community and QA teams
- Work, collaborate and coordinate with Offshore and Onsite team members to fulfill the BA responsibilities from project initiation to post-implementation
- Creates flow diagrams, structure charts, and other types of system or process representations
- Manage changes to requirements and baseline through a change control process
- Utilizes standard processes, design, and testing tools throughout project development life cycle
- Work closely with the business teams, operations, and various technology teams to facilitate a common understanding of requirements and priorities across all areas

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of Business Analysis experience in Toronto, Canada in **regional regulations prudential standards (e.g., Basel II/III/IV, BCBS 239, CCAR, FRTB, LIBOR transition, EU CRD, etc)**:

- Knowledge of **credit risk, market risk, counterparty risk, operational risk o**r any other relevant risk regulations and **metrics including RWA, EAD etc.**:

- Preferably worked in **Risk technology or Risk business within front line or risk management**:

- Data Analysis capabilities (Database or Spreadsheet), with extensive experience using **SQL, Excel, or any other tools**:

- **CFA/FRM/CBAP Certification - Nice to have**:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Prior experience interacting extensively with stakeholders from business and technology.
- Demonstrate initiative - a self-starter who accepts challenges with strong sense of ownership and accountability requiring mínimal direction
- Strong organization and time management skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask
- Good analyzing capabilities, to break complex problems into simpler ones.
- Ability to explain domain concepts to technology stakeholders (developers, QA etc.)
