We are looking to hire an experienced full-time **Operations Assistant **for our Brockville, Ontario terminal. The Operations Assistant is responsible for coordinating day-to-day warehouse/office operations, to make certain of a best practices approach. _NB: This role embodies an exceptional career opportunity for a person familiar with a variety of transportation vehicles, equipment, service requirements, and transport legislation._

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate closely with the Operations team to enhance overall efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including managing essential documentation such as Bills of Lading, Proof of Deliveries, and developing manifests.
- Analyze and interpret reports to identify priorities and streamline workflow.
- Facilitate clear communication with drivers and warehouse personnel regarding their responsibilities and expectations.
- Coordinate with Dispatch and Linehaul teams to prioritize tasks based on urgency and operational needs.
- Engage with our proprietary data entry system (training will be provided) to ensure accurate and timely data management.
- Contribute to a variety of operations-related tasks, gaining exposure to different aspects of the role.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned by management to support team objectives.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience within the transportation industry preferred.
- Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work and learn in fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work effectively, efficiently, and courteously with other staff.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively to accommodate a high-volume environment in order to meet deadlines.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $40,000.00 per year
