Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Product Supply Analyst for our lumber commodity on a permanent basis. This position is a remote or hybrid opportunity and can be based in Saskatchewan, Alberta, or Manitoba.

**What you’ll do**:

- Maintain optimal lumber inventory levels by forecasting future requirements, recommending purchase amounts, considering lead times, and understanding market trends.
- Provide daily competitive market pricing based on detailed tracking and analysis of market pricing from various levels of the supply chain.
- Lead data collection, development, and maintenance within Microsoft Excel and other platforms to track inventory, sales, pricing, trends, etc.
- Compile and supply short-term and long-term sales forecasts to various FCL stakeholders and lead the analysis of supply and demand, markets, margins, and potential opportunities.
- Seek and maintain relationships with lumber mills and producers, negotiate supply agreements, and set up purchasing timelines to coincide with optimal market conditions.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a career in product management & analysis and:

- Have 3-5 years of experience in supply management of commodities. Experience in retail/wholesale hardware or the building materials industry would be considered an asset (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have a certificate, diploma, or degree in business or a related field.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Excel, a strong communicator, and have a customer-service mindset.
