We are looking for an energetic and engaging Artist Instructor/Studio Assistant to join our team at the Art Gallery of Lambeth in London, Ontario

We’re looking for an Artist/Party hosts to walk a group of people step-by-step through various art projects while they enjoy socializing, snacks and beverages in our amazing studio, as well as someone that can assist customers, and staff our beautiful gallery/gift shop during events.
- A previous experience in a retail setting would be considered an asset.
- A willingness and desire to learn in a supportive, collaborative environment
- A passion for creativity and desire to share it with others
- Sound understanding of contemporary visual art and artistic practices
- Experience teaching, and/or working with children
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Positive team player and infectious personality
- A self-motivated multitasker, who enjoys busy and is not easily overwhelmed
- Punctuality, flexibility and problem-solving skills
- A valid driver’s license and on-going access to a working vehicle
- A current criminal record check and vulnerable sector screening
- First Aid Certification

**Weekday availability and flexible weekend availability is a must.**

Part-time hours: 10-25 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
