**About the role**

Working together, with our strong team of cybersecurity governance, risk, and compliance experts, you will work with state-of-the-art technologies to promote a strong cybersecurity compliance culture for Intact Financial Corporation. In collaboration with your colleagues, you will ensure the team success and continuously evaluate and report on the cybersecurity compliance practice to reduce cybersecurity risks for the organisation. With your strong knowledge and innovative mindset, you will try new approaches and leverage emerging technologies to help deliver a second-to-none customer experience, shape the future of our industry, and leave your mark.

**What you’ll do here**:

- Act as an expert to continuously identify, monitor and respond to applicable cybersecurity risk management requirements.
- Being an active part of Cyber Risk team, support the Cyber Governance and Compliance teams to ensure synergy and momentum among teams.
- Help foster a strong “cybersecurity Secure-by-design” culture across the organization by facilitating virtual workshops, preparing electronic publications and communications.
- Act as an expert to continuously maintain the cyber risk management and reporting frameworks while ensuring alignment with the over-arching Enterprise IT Risk Management framework and established cybersecurity policies, standards, and guidelines.
- By working independently, conduct various cyber risk assessments for circumstances, events or risk scenarios that can potentially impact organization's security posture and/or risk profile.
- Creating and delivering comprehensive risk reports to provide detailed insights of the current state of the organization’s cyber risks landscape.
- Performing cyber threat modeling and business impact analysis to ensure cyber assets are adequately protected with appropriate cybersecurity measures and controls.
- Act as an expert in Cybersecurity Risk management for the development of cyber risk modules and content within GRC platform.
- Act as an expert to support the Information security functions to identify, develop, measure, maintain and report on KRIs.
- Collaborating with internal customers and IT stakeholders to facilitate cyber risk assessments and established approval procedures that support a comprehensive risk management process."
- Efficiently communicate to required stakeholders about the organization IT Security risk management Framework and the expectations for internal and external risk management requirements.
- Remain vigilant to evolving industry cybersecurity solutions and services to ensure constant protection against ongoing and emerging threats.

**Experience and skills**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, or equivalent education and experience
- 8+ years of relevant work experience in Information Technology and 5+ years of relevant work experience in cyber security frameworks such as those published by guiding organizations (_NIST, SANS, ISO etc_.). Ability to translate framework to practical advice an assessment.
- Strong ethical principles and understanding of business and information security ethics.
- Technical designations such as CISSP, CRISC, CISA preferred.
- Good mix of business and technical capabilities, and the ability to communicate on current cyber risk issues to management within the context of their business.
- Clear and articulate written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to develop and manage relationships, good facilitation, and delivery skills.
