Inside Contract Sales

**Summary**

Slegg Building Materials is seeking a Full-Time Inside Contract Sales team member. The schedule is Tuesday - Friday 9am - 5:30pm and the wage range is $23-$32.23 per hour. Our Extended Health & Dental benefits start after 3 months.

**Responsibilities**
- Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers
- Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as a top priorities
- Project quotes, enter delivery orders, place special orders, and assist in purchasing
- Build strong customer relationships through reliable call backs, follow up on deliveries, and awareness of project timeline to foresee material needs
- Maintaining merchandising standards in designated areas
- Attend sales team meetings as needed
- Be a source of knowledge and willing to learn about new building materials: lumber, roofing, siding, insulation, drywall, hardware, retaining walls, pavers, concrete, etc.
- Take pride in your work environment keeping your desk area clean and presentable
- Respect and obey safety policies and procedures in our yard and on jobsites
- All other duties as directed by management

**Requirements**:

- Competitive spirit and results driven
- Computer Skills required
- Able to multi-task and prioritize
- Self-motivated and detail orientated
- Must be able to work Saturdays
- A broad knowledge of building supplies is necessary
- Sales experience an asset
- Physical requirements include:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 30lbs
