Coordinator: Administration and Programs

Full Time

Salaried: $50,000.00/year + Extended Health and Dental benefits

Reporting to the Executive Director, the Coordinator: Administration and Programs will play a vital role in the planning and development of various programs and projects, and is an administrative professional specializing in coordinating, implementing, marketing, and evaluating different programs and projects.

Job Tasks:
Administration:

- Assist the Executive Director in updating operational metrics and complete a year-end report.
- Provide general client services as needed.
- Provide general office administration duties.
- Coordinate with the Volunteer Coordinator to ensure that volunteers are available to deliver our programs and services.
- Coordinate with the Inventory Coordinator to ensure that inventory is sufficient to meet the clients’ needs.

Programs:

- See to the proper functioning of the various programs and the achievement of objectives.
- Coordinate the implementation the Professional Women’s Group, a program that provides skills development to Dress for Success Central Alberta clients.
- Coordinate the establishment and implementation of the Women’s Employment,

Readiness Pilot Program (WERpp), a program that will provide Dress for SuccessCentral Alberta clients with wrap around services.
- In collaboration with the Executive Director, establish and run the Learning Centre.
- Ensure projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Contribute to the annual planning of the various programs.

Marketing and Fund Development:

- Promote workshops/webinars with our partners, DFS affiliates, etc, and obtain the attendance list of our clients from partners.
- Assist the Executive Director in promoting activities of DFS Central Alberta.
- Assist the Executive Director on the website by providing documents and relevant information for clients.
- Assist the Executive Director to identify networking and referral sources.
- Prepare and manage correspondence and communications with clients and community partners, as required.
- Participate in event planning and community engagement activities.
- Coordinate marketing initiatives and activities as assigned.

Other:

- Other Duties and projects as assigned by the Executive Director.

**Salary**: $50,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Red Deer, AB T4N 1L2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- working in the non-profit or charitable sector: 2 years (preferred)
