**Job Title**: Demolition Estimator

**Location**: North York

**Overview**:
**Responsibilities**:

- Analyze project documents, specifications, and drawings to develop comprehensive cost estimates for demolition projects.
- Prepare and submit detailed and accurate bids, proposals, and quotations for potential clients, ensuring compliance with company standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to gather information on project scope, timelines, and resources.
- Conduct site visits and attend pre-bid meetings to assess project conditions, identify potential risks, and obtain necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Maintain and update the company's cost database, ensuring current and accurate pricing for labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor services.
- Monitor industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to stay informed about new developments and opportunities in the demolition sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring clear communication and prompt resolution of any issues or concerns.
- Participate in project handovers, providing detailed information on estimates, project scope, and client expectations to ensure a smooth transition to the project management team.
- Continuously improve estimating processes and tools, incorporating best practices and lessons learned from past projects.

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in demolition estimating, with a proven track record of successful bids and project completions.
- Strong knowledge of demolition methods, materials, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in using estimating software and tools.
- Excellent analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop accurate and detailed cost estimates.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- A commitment to continuous learning and professional development, staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
- Read blueprints / drawings.
