Payroll Administrator

Duties
- Report to Accountant
- Process payroll for employees accurately and timely
- Maintain employee records and ensure data integrity in the payroll system.
- Calculate and process payroll deductions, including taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposit statements to employees.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
- Prepare payroll reports for management as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Payroll Administrator or similar role
- Proficient in using payroll software such as UltiPro, PeopleSoft, Workday, ADP, or similar systems
- Strong knowledge of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws
- Experience with account reconciliation and data entry
- Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems)
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in processing payroll
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Note: Experience with accounts receivable is not directly relevant to the role of a Payroll Administrator. No experience is welcome to apply, trainings will be provided.

**Salary**: $19.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
