**Essential Functions of the Job**:

- Work with the CUT team and community partner to implement this research project and organize regular meetings and engagement events.
- Coordinate research activities and assist in developing survey/interviews and recruitment materials.
- Assist in designing program evaluations, including curriculum design and assessment, and developing a guide for cost-effectiveness analysis.
- Participate in primary and secondary data collection, if necessary, including conducting interviews at the local research site.
- Engage in knowledge mobilization activities, such as research presentations and writing research for publication in leading international journals.
- Other activities as required.

- Satisfactory criminal record check
- Fully supportive of the integration of faith and learning in a Christian university-level setting and a commitment to the Mission of Booth University College
- Ability to integrate your Christian faith within the workplace
- Experience working in an interdisciplinary environment, the ability to work well as part of a collaborative team, excellent written and oral communication skills, time management, project management, and organizational skills.
- Experience with applied research and/or with marginalized population groups and their members, organizational analysis, and qualitative methods and data analysis, are of particular interest.

This position will run for nine months from the time of hiring until completion, with the possibility of an extension, should additional funds be secured.

This is an in-person position. The postdoc fellow will be provided an office at Booth UC in downtown Winnipeg, where they will also have access to resources at the John Fairbank Memorial Library. They will maintain a flexible working schedule with time roughly divided as follows: 50% Shelter U-related research, 25% teaching, and 25% own research. The fellow will be required to attend meetings as required and to teach as preferred, at Booth, and to conduct research at the Center of Hope. Transportation costs to participate in in-person meetings at Booth or community organizations in Winnipeg will not be provided.
