Labourer, Apprentice, Experienced Carpenter

Matkaluk Construction Ltd. is based in North Vancouver and Whistler and is a fast growing company specializing in full service residential renovations and new home construction. We are currently seeking a skilled carpenters, labourers and apprentices to join our team.

Qualifications and Requirements
- ticketed red seal carpenter preferred
- at least 5 year's experience or 8 years avid experience and knowledge of the trade
- ability to manage operations on their own
- knowledge of residential renovations and all aspects of carpentry
- have a valid driver's license
- resident of BC

Duties & Responsibilities
- work from drawings if supplied
- check accuracy of work and adjust where required
- operate power and hand tools
- precisely measure, cut, shape and assemble what is required
- keep site safe and clean
- patience to teach apprentices

Additional Details
- Mercedes Sprinter Van outfitted with tools after 3 months of employment (must have clean driving abstract)
- fuel and Insurnace for van paid for
- 2 weeks paid vacation
- 1 week of sick pay
- majority of work is on the North Shore, with current and upcoming projects on Bowen Island and Whistler

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $30.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

**Benefits**:

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- Carpentry: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Red Seal, Drivers License (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (preferred)
