**Summary**:
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Camp Operations, the Property Manager is responsible for ensuring all participants served by Tims Camps enjoy their unique camp experience in a safe and well-maintained environment. This role will oversee the day to day operations of the maintenance and housekeeping team and will also work collaboratively with the program and food service teams. In addition, it will work cross-functionally with the shared service teams at Home Office and liaise with Property Managers from other Camp locations.

This role will be based on site at the Tim Horton Children's Camp located in Tatamagouche, Nova Scotia.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Direct, coach, develop, and provide leadership to your team through both informal and formal feedback, and adoption of the Learning and Achievement System
- Plan and execute a Preventative Maintenance Plan aligned with Foundation Standard Operating Procedures, including water and waste water
- Annual budget creation, adoption, and follow through to ensure efficient use of resources
- Oversee monthly health and safety inspections and facilitate required repairs
- Plan for and oversee the maintenance and inspections for all property equipment ensuring it is maintained to provide a safe environment for staff, campers and visitors
- Manage on site projects and events, and delegate support as required
- Supervise contractors and specialized trades to ensure the safety, security and integrity of our site, and that standards are met
- Complete quarterly audits and follow through on necessary repairs and upgrades
- Actively participate in Standards visits and assigned action plan(s)
- Demonstrate a hands-on approach to working in a dynamic environment with multiple demands and changing priorities
- Commit to ensuring that each guest experience is met with the highest standard of customer service and property management
- Approach each situation as a positive role model to campers, promoting healthy lifestyles and choices

***JOB QUALIFICATIONS**
- Strong leadership skills with a minimum of 5 years' experience leading teams
- 5+ years of experience working with building systems, grounds maintenance, housekeeping and hospitality
- 5+ years of experience successfully managing capital projects (less than $100,000) considered an asset
- Specialized training or certification as a carpenter, electrician, plumber, landscaper, small engine or auto mechanic, or other applicable trades is considered an asset
- Knowledge of local industry standards and by-laws
- Experience using Microsoft Office and confident using technology
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Previous experience managing a budget
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Water & Wastewater System Operator certifications or the ability to become certified
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driver's abstract
- Acceptable criminal background check
- Enthusiastic, encouraging, and passionate about making a difference
- Ability to work flexible hours as required
