**Key Responsibilities**
- Assist the camp coordinator in organizing and implementing the daily camp activities indoors and outdoors
- Leading campers on nature photography walks
- Assisting campers in editing their photos and preparing final slideshows.
- Lead nature and photography-themed games, activities, and crafts
- Maintain safety and supervision of all campers including upholding ratio expectations
- Assist in maintaining accurate program records including incident reports and behaviour tracking forms where required
- Assist with any behaviour challenges and use appropriate behaviour modification techniques
- Perform additional duties and undertake special projects as assigned

**Qualifications and Experience Required**:

- Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act for the duration of the employment
- Have a valid Social Insurance Number at the start of employment and be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Positive attitude and a love for working with children
- Prior experience working with children
- Prior camp counseling experience is preferred
- Interpersonal skills including the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Interest and knowledge of nature and photography is an asset
- Standard First Aid/CPR-C required
- HIGH FIVE® Principles of Healthy Child Development certification is an asset

**Conditions of Employment**:

- Must be willing to submit a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check upon hire.
- Must be able to work the following dates: March 11-15
- Must be at least the age of 18 at the start of camp

Training will be provided

Hours: Monday-Friday, Between 8am-5pm

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Licence/Certification:
