**Education & Expertise**
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years' experience in social media management and content creation
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related discipline
- Strong working knowledge of communication principles and practices
- Communications and/or PR agency experience preferred
- Must possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication with strong writing and editorial abilities
- Demonstrated success with Social Media tools such as Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and others.
- Digital advertising experience is preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, internet, wire services, media monitoring software, and other public relation tools
- Additional certifications or workshops relating to customer service are an asset
- Proven experience working in customer service
- Has the ability to be an influential communications consultant within the organization
- Has the ability to work effectively in a team
- CPR/First Aid certification (required to have a minimum of Emergency First Aid and CPR certification) required prior to start date and must be maintained throughout employment. CPR is to be renewed annually
- All team members must provide a recent Criminal Background Check prior to commencement of training and/or work
