**About the Opportunity**:
**As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for providing foundational IT support for the IT Infrastructure and Cybersecurity teams and play a critical role in maintaining the day-to-day functionality of the IT environment.**

Your responsibilities will include:

- Identifying and resolving basic technical issues, escalating more complex problems to higher-level administrators as needed
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, hardware and software updates, system monitoring and vulnerability management
- Maintaining documentation for system configurations and procedures
- Following security protocols and best practices to assist the IT team with threat handling and security monitoring
- Collaborating with other systems administrators and IT team members
- Assisting with IT operations as needed, in order to contribute to a stable and efficient IT infrastructure that supports the organization's needs

**About You**:
You will also need the following knowledge and qualifications to perform this role successfully:

- Solid understanding of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN
- Working knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware
- Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Continuous improvement mindset, including keeping current on IT trends
- Effective prioritization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with Cloud and Premise Infrastructure are assets
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness/ability to work remotely from a home office based in the Saskatoon area (those located in the St. Brieux area would also be considered for a hybrid work arrangement)
