**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review Mechanical Flow Sheets and scope of supply and prepare master summary list, utilizing Propak’s Lot / Split system.
- Prepare vessel/exchanger fabrication and piping material and labor estimates in accordance with in-house procedures and estimating templates.
- Prepare valve and instrumentation takeoffs and obtain competitive pricing from suppliers.
- Reviews, queries, and understands the scope of work, specifications, and standards.
- Attends fabrication estimates reviews with Management when required.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in fabrication for an Oil and Gas EPC organization.
- A two-year diploma in an _engineering technology_ **or** _an engineering degree with emphasis in mechanical / chemical / petroleum engineering_
- Training is available as required to enhance competencies as an Estimator.

Competencies:

- Understands the scope of work, specifications / standards, material selection.
- Understands the fabrication / erection sequences and applies the same for estimation.
- Working with Engineers, understands the development of conceptual and detailed fabricated design.
- Undertakes effective daily planning and completes tasks on time.
- Maintains a professional attitude under times constraints, multiple tasks and changing priorities.
- Ability to interact with other trades, managers, directors.
- Ability to prepare quotes to vendors.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
