WHAT YOU’LL DO

Taking the lead from the VP, Intelligence & Head Economist, you’ll play a pivotal role within the Intelligence team as a people leader and in actively managing an array of data feeds (both internal and from 3rd parties), a data warehouse, and a dashboard ecosystem that together form the critically-important foundation upon which rennie’s best-in-class market insights and perspectives are built.

In this role, you’ll manage the data pipelines and inventory used to support external clients and internal stakeholders, the latter of which primarily comprises the organization's three revenue lines: Developer Services, Consumer Services, and Advisory Services. Highly analytical, technologically-apt, and detail-oriented, you understand the importance of maintaining a high-quality data environment that can be leveraged to help rennie leadership and team members make better decisions and best advise our clients.

**Duties and Responsibilities**- Responsible for the efficient functioning of the Business Intelligence (BI) team, including the maintenance and ongoing evolution of the data ecosystem, the development of new business tools and resources- Work with department heads throughout the organization to identify business needs and areas of improvement that can be addressed by the BI team- Pro-actively up-level and improve existing content, tools, and resources maintained by the BI team- Deliver robust, but consumable analysis on all areas of the business and real estate market trends through various mediums (dashboards, excel, pdfs, etc.)- Develop and implement automated dashboards for business reporting and industry & market analysis for both internal and external clients- Maintain data warehouses, automating data pipelines and ETL processes for various data sources in preparation for modeling data for reporting purposes-
- Solution and/or optimize and consults on data-intensive practices or processes- Responsible for standardizing and documenting processes- As manager of BI team, develops and mentors BI analysts- Support the implementation of new systems or processes

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

**Education and Experience**- Minimum of 5 - 8 years experience in a similar role involving the sourcing, ETL-ing, maintenance, organization, and thoughtful visualization of numerous and large data sets- Previous team-lead or people management experience, with demonstrated proficiency supervising and motivating team members- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Statistics, Computer Science, Business Administration; a related certification, diploma, or degree in economics or real estate an asset
