Alberta Beach, Canada Unlimited Safety Services Full time

**Rope Rescue Technician**

Unlimited Safety Services is looking to hire 2 Technical Rescue/ Firefighter positions.

These firefighters are employed by Unlimited Safety Services (USS) and perform mainly industrial fieldwork. They are also required to maintain fleet vehicles and equipment and respond to 911 emergency callouts for Fire-Rescue International when not on a field assignment.

We are looking for highly qualified members who excel under pressure and are able to work well in stressful situations. Our members are reliable, caring, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. We are looking for people who are able to maintain organized paperwork; clean, service, and document repairs on equipment; and respond effectively to emergency situations.

If you choose to be a Career Firefighter you will receive a retainer as a direct deposit every two weeks and receive day-rate bonuses for time spent in the industrial field for USS. Career firefighters are assigned a specific unit type that they are responsible for maintaining when not on an assignment. These firefighters work an 8-hour workday while at the station, and usually 12-hour workdays when in the industrial field. The shift rotation for this position is two weeks on-duty followed by two weeks off-duty.

Career firefighters are required to relocate to within the call area (5 minutes away from any one of our stations) or may reside on-station for free for the duration of their tour if they choose not to relocate.

These firefighters can make enough money to reliably sustain most lifestyles if they are sent into the industrial field on a semi-regular basis. This position allows individuals to work only half of the year, which grants them the ability to work elsewhere for supplemental income if desired. Our company has many opportunities for advancement, such as leadership roles and additional education.
