Wind Turbine Technician

The Wind Turbine Technician will travel to support various scopes of work across Canada. The technician must be competent and qualified to work on wind turbines. Our product is our people Here's what you will do as a Wind Technician: 100% Travel, with an approximate 35:10 onsite to offsite ratio.Climb wind turbines (upwards of 130m) to perform diagnostic testing, installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs to mechanical, electrical and hydraulic components/systems.Complete various reports, checklists, and hazard analysis as it pertains to job scope.Participate in company and customer HSE/training programs.Deliver exceptional customer experience/service to our partners in the industry.Follow all Health and Safety policies to maintain a zero-incident workplaceScheduled maintenance of Wind Turbine Generators including: inspection, greasing, cleaning, torqueing and tensioning of bolted connectionsApply LOTOElectrical TroubleshootingHydraulic TroubleshootingFollow and implement work procedures for specific scopes of work to inspect, repair and maintain Wind Turbine componentsPopulate, track and communicate client and company documentation on a daily basisMaintain a clean work area, equipment and toolingPerform other daily work requirements as directed by Site ManagementMaintain required training certifications for position (Fall Protection/Rescue Training,, LOTO, First Aid/CPR/AED) etc. Spark Power Employee Benefits and Perks: Competitive hourly wagesPaid travel days1.5X overtime offered after 8 hours and on weekendsFast-track growth opportunities$200/year tool allowanceBenefits (health, vision, dental)RRSP Matching Company vehiclesMonthly cell phone allowanceAll travel, training, workwear & PPE paid for Do you have the Spark?
