A. Duties & Responsibilities

1. The technician reports to the shift supervisor
2. Start-up/set-up/shutdown and maintain the Hydrographic Dipping equipment (including, but not limited to, Dip Print/Power wash/Dehydration systems) or the UltraWrap equipment (including, but not limited to, UltraWrap Former/Robotic Laser Trimming systems).
3. Operate the Hydrographic Dipping equipment or UltraWrap equipment to ensure quality parts are produced
4. Perform necessary adjustments/changes to process set-up, when required; ensuring to always fully document adjustments/changes
5. Ensure production of customer requirements
7. Technician will ensure that materials are consumed in FIFO (first in, first out).
8. Must be present at the work station five minutes before the shift begins to assure a smooth transition
9. Communicate with the incoming or outgoing shift to assure a smooth transition during shift change
10. Read and understand the operator instructions at the workstation
11. Perform daily PM tasks to ensure all related equipment is functioning properly
12. Understand functions of all related equipment and perform minor troubleshooting on all related equipment
13. Ensure that the workstation is clean at all times

B. Minimum Qualifications

1. Ability to take instruction
2. Minimum Grade 12

C.

4. Hands on learner with high technical/mechanical aptitude
5. Basic knowledge and use of hand tools
6. Understanding of Kanban/labelling requirements
7. Ability to detect basic moulding defects such as sink, flash, etc.
8. No colour vision deficiency
9. Excellent motor skills and dexterity
10. Understanding of key Quality & Environmental Management Systems procedures related to job function
11. Forms, Tags and Labels governing job function
