**An exciting co-op opportunity awaits a motivated student at our Calgary, AB or Saskatoon, SK office beginning January or September 2025 for an approximate 8, 12, or 16-month term. This is a temporary, full-time, hourly-paid position that is open to current students who will be returning to their studies once this work term is complete. This position is not available for remote work.**

**What you will do**:

- Application development, unit test, and deployment of custom digital web apps hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Participate in the design, building, and maintenance of software modules
- Shadow senior developers as they evaluate technologies and design for enterprise scalability, performance, and optimization
- Build working knowledge about responsive React front ends and, leading serverless technologies (such as Lambda and DynamoDB) and micro-service-based architectures
- Work with other IT teams - such as infrastructure, cyber security, and data services/analytics
- Learn AWS, React, TypeScript, C#, Splunk, CircleCi, GitHub, Jira, and many other technologies

**What you will bring**:

- Completed a minimum of 2 years of a Computer Science undergraduate degree with an accredited post-secondary institution AND returning to full-time studies after the work term
- Curious mindset to investigate business needs or opportunities to leverage technology or digital solutions
- Excellent interpersonal skills, an aptitude for problem-solving, and the ability to work in a team environment
