**What will I be doing?**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the 95-room hotel, ensuring the delivery of outstanding guest service.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase revenue and profitability.
- Monitor and manage budgets, financial plans, and control operating expenses to ensure cost efficiency.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with guests, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
- Manage and develop a staff of up to 50 people to ensure efficiency and high levels of customer service.
- Monitor industry trends and implement best practices.
- Ensures hotel implementation and compliance of policies and procedures, OHSA, and brand standards.

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in a hospitality management position.
- Strong leader with outstanding motivational skills and coaching ability.
- Must have English language literacy and written skills, with emphasis on spelling and grammar sufficient to write proposals and reports, maintain records, & read information and procedures.
- Must have English language verbal communication skills sufficient to communicate effectively with team members, ownership, vendors and various outside partners.
- Able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.

**Requirements**:

- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotel’s satisfaction.
