**Title**: Project Manager, Decriminalization and Toxic Drug Response
**Salary**: $86,778 - $102,091 - $117,405 per year (pay range explained below)
**Contract**: Permanent
**Hours**: 37.5 hours per week (core hours 9am-3pm, Monday-Friday)
**Location**: West Vancouver (Hybrid working is an option in line with FNHA’s flex work policy). Please note, this role will be relocating to our new office building in North Vancouver on Tsleil-Waututh Nation (TWN) land, south of Mount Seymour Parkway, after October 2024.

**About the role**
As Project Manager, Decriminalization and Toxic Drug Response, you will manage and oversee the planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the decriminalization of small amounts of illicit substances for personal use and FNHA’s toxic drug response action plan to support First Nations communities and Indigenous Peoples to address the ongoing impacts of the toxic drug emergency. This role will prioritize implementation of all aspects of the toxic drug response action plan including supporting initiative leads to plan, implement and evaluate, monitoring specific projects and recommending necessary adjustments along with ensuring clear briefings and communication with FNHA Executive and across the organization. Travel will be required in this role, approximately 5-6 times per year.

**About you**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- A Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline (Social Science, Social Work, Psychology, Business, Health Informatics) or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 3-5 years of recent experience in managing multiple initiatives, and complex projects related to program implementation or business transformation preferably in a healthcare system or health organization
- Experience and or knowledge in harm reduction, decriminalization, addictions and/or mental health
- Proven experience in risk management and change management; in facilitating committee meetings; in the preparation of briefing documents for the senior executives; in managing multi-year projects and deliverables; in managing business-driven or business transformation projects; and in BC/Canadian Healthcare
- Demonstrated experience working with First Nations and Aboriginal community members and organizations and on multi-partner projects that require strong collaboration and communication
- Knowledge of mental health and wellness program development, including harm reduction is required

You may have experience in:

- Project Management Professional certification through Project Management Institute is an asset
- Demonstrated experience working in the field of mental health and wellness development is desirable
- Completion of the Indigenous Cultural Competency course or equivalent education is desirable
- Knowledge of First Nations healthcare and/or culture is an asset

The Pay Range is the minimum and maximum annual salary based on full time equivalent hours. Incumbents are typically hired, transferred or promoted between the minimum and midpoint of the range based on their knowledge, skills, abilities and experience in relation to the role requirements. The top 10% of the pay range is for the incumbents who are industry experts in the job with the combination of exceptional experience and competencies needed to perform all duties and responsibilities at a superior capability level.
