Denison Mines Corp. (“Denison”) is a uranium exploration and development company with project interests in the Athabasca Basin region of northern Saskatchewan and office operations based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. Denison is a public company listed on the NYSE American and TSX stock exchanges, and is also engaged in mine care and maintenance for decommissioned mine sites through its Closed Mines group based in Elliot Lake, Ontario. Denison’s flagship project is the Wheeler River Uranium Project (“Wheeler River”), which is located approximately 35 km north-northeast of Cameco’s Key Lake Operation and 35 km southwest of Cameco’s McArthur River Operation in the eastern portion of the Athabasca Basin. The Project is accessible by vehicle and is located about 5 km west of Highway 914.

Wheeler River is the largest undeveloped uranium project in the eastern portion of the Athabasca Basin region in northern Saskatchewan, Canada. A Pre-Feasibility Study (“PFS”) was completed in accordance with NI 43-101 in September 2018 highlighting the selection of the in-situ recovery (“ISR”) mining method for the development of the high-grade Phoenix deposit. On September 22, 2021 Denison announced the initiation of the Feasibility Study (“FS”) for the Project. Concurrently, Denison is also advancing the environmental assessment (“EA”) process which is a critical step to securing the approvals necessary to develop and operate a mine in Canada.

With the advancement of the ISR mining method, the Project has the potential to be one of the lowest-cost and most environmentally sustainable uranium mining operations in the world.

**THE ROLE**:
Denison is looking to fill the role of **Camp Services Lead **to engage with the Project’s evaluation and exploration teams, as the company progresses towards the future development of an ISR uranium mining operation.

Reporting to Denison’s Technical Services Manager, the primary responsibility of the position is to oversee daily camp operations and act as the key liaison between the camp staff, contractors, and Denison’s Saskatoon Office. The Camp Services Lead will work closely with kitchen staff; maintenance, health and safety, and regulatory personnel; and office administration.

The role is being offered as a temporary position starting on or about **January 9, 2023, **for an approximate one (1) year term, with the possibility of extension.

**OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE**:

- 3-5 years of relevant work experience (e.g., in mining industry) working in a supervisor role at a camp setting
- Experience working on a rotational schedule in a remote camp environment
- Experience working in the Athabasca Basin on uranium exploration or mining operations is an asset
- Valid driver’s license
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Enterprise Software, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to interact successfully with all levels of staff, contractors, and vendors
- Valid First Aid certification
- Basic knowledge of carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical

**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Provide supervision, assistance, and direction to staff regarding all matters of camp operations, including but not limited to general site/facilities/equipment maintenance and upkeep, staff management and scheduling, and administration of paperwork;
- Maintains site, facilities, and equipment in working order;Provides oversight and direction to camp staff (kitchen, cleaning, maintenance) in accordance with Denison’s policies and procedures;
- Oversees the orientation of all visitors, vendors, and contractors, including arrangement of accommodations and meals;
- Maintains an accurate record of camp occupants on a daily basis;
- Keeps inventory of equipment and camp supplies and is responsible for liaising with Denison’s Procurement Lead;
- Completes all required reporting and inspections according to daily, weekly and monthly timelines;
- Plan, evaluate, and improve the efficiency of business processes and procedures to enhance speed, quality, efficiency, and output;
- Perform other duties as directed by Denison’s Saskatoon office.
- Enforce Denison’s Covid / Health Safety Procedures, including PPE, masking, and support radiation safety programs and safety audits, including:

- Ongoing site hazards identification and risk mitigation;
- Supports resolution of audit findings;
- Coordinates with the site medic.
- Work with the Denison Leads to understand various field program requirements, supporting logistics and procurement activities:

- Coordinate the delivery and inventorying of materials and equipment and/or performance of services;
- Review requests for goods and services to maximize efficiency in terms of price, delivery, and suitability;
- Reviews, understands, and supports the adherence of all contractors and staff to site and project permits.
