The TD Insurance Small Business Insurance Product & Pricing Group has a mandate to grow the small business insurance through a robust suite of automobile, commercial property, and casualty products. This group plays a key role in setting the strategy, policy, and overall direction of the business with accountability for the P&L including, volume, and market share.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain all commercial insurance contract wordings, forms, Coverage Summary Page (all products, all region) as well as any supportive customer documentation, including their French versions in such a way that it enhances the end-to-end customer experience while achieving business objectives
- Support the development, implementation and understanding of training material related to contracts
- Act as Subject Matter Expert for coverage-related inquiries
- Build and maintain effective relationships with key internal stakeholders and/or external partners
- Propose insurance contract changes following legislative or internal changes
- Work closely with the Product Management team and business leaders to develop new product and services
- Provide insurance contracts interpretation and coverage intention to various stakeholders across the organization
- Develop, maintain, and analyze coverage comparisons with industry standards or main competitors
- Develop and maintain a robust understanding of the regulatory requirements, customer, market, and industry
- Support the Senior Management with product coverage analysis and market trends

**Skills**:

- Fully bilingual - Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing, in French and English
- Advanced level policy wording’s drafter with a flair for innovation
- Highly developed critical thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills; strong skills for contract analysis and wording interpretation
- Strong business acumen and the ability to deliver solutions through understanding of the market practice and awareness of new and emerging trends
- Attention to details, strong organization skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple deadlines and priorities, making an impact in cross-functional groups, through influence and strong relationships-building skills
- Focus on client needs, has a professional approach, with the ability to interact with all levels within the organization
- Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools, and techniques
- Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite

**Job Requirements**

Experience & Education:

- Minimum of 5 years of General Insurance experience (underwriting, claims, products, insurance contracts redaction)
- 1 to 3 years of Commercial Insurance experience (underwriting, claims, products, insurance contracts redaction)
- Open to improve knowledge and contacts by taking suggested courses and attend appropriate seminars and trainings.
- College or University degree
- AIIC, FIIC or CIP title is preferred but not required
- Strong Word knowledge is preferred
