Job Summary:
Join Central 1’s Strategic Sourcing Team as a Sourcing Manager and play a key role in transforming how we work with suppliers, manage costs, and drive innovation. Reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Sourcing, you’ll lead efforts to achieve significant cost savings and add value across the organization by developing impactful sourcing and category strategies. In this role, you’ll manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and implement meaningful changes that optimize spending and enhance operational efficiency. You’ll work closely with business leaders to introduce innovative approaches that elevate the value Finance brings to the organization, making a tangible impact through strategic, high-visibility initiatives.

What you will be doing:

- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal teams to understand business needs, define sourcing requirements, and build a portfolio of trusted providers.
- Value Creation & Cost Savings: Focus on consolidating suppliers, leveraging enterprise-wide volume, and completing preparatory work to achieve savings through an operational review of third-party spend.
- Bidding & Negotiation Management: Lead bidding processes, develop negotiation strategies, and establish preferred supplier agreements, collaborating with legal as needed.
- Relationship Building: Foster innovative, collaborative relationships with stakeholders and suppliers to create mutual value; represent Procurement and Finance effectively with key groups.
- Change Leadership: Guide stakeholders through sourcing changes that drive efficiency and savings, maintaining flexibility to pivot based on initiative needs.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Conduct risk assessments, set up risk mitigation and continuous improvement plans, and monitor economic factors impacting spend.
- Process Implementation: Drive the implementation, optimization, and documentation of new sourcing processes to support efficiency and performance.
- Compliance & Standards: Align sourcing practices with organizational standards for process, diversity, inclusion, and risk frameworks.
- Performance Measurement: Define and track performance metrics to ensure sourcing outcomes are optimized.
- Ad Hoc Projects & Flexibility: Handle additional projects and responsibilities as needed, adapting to the dynamic environment

What you'll have:

- 5+ years of relevant experience, including managing complex tech and service supplier relationships within large organizations.
- Strong sourcing, negotiation, and category strategy skills.
- Strategic thinker with proven ability in Category and Sourcing Strategy.
- Familiarity with Source to Pay technology and experience in financial services.
- Experienced in contract management, RFx procurement practices, vendor management, and negotiation strategies.
- Skilled in developing a continuous improvement agenda and leading organizational change management.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills across business areas.
- Ability to drive change and manage competing priorities, working independently to meet deadlines.
- Proven team player with initiative, creativity, and integrity.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Recognized leadership skills with a track record in leading complex projects to successful completion.
- Experience in drafting procurement policies and operational documents (desirable).

Salary range: $95,000-$107,000
