We have an excellent opportunity for a Climate Change Risk Analyst to join our First Derivative consulting division in either London, Newry or Belfast on a permanent basis.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Data analysis and production of technical documentation
- Regular updates to senior stakeholders
- Presentation of results to senior stakeholders
- Interpretation of banking regulations relating to climate change

**Criteria**:

- Excellent inter personals skills
- Strong presentation skills
- Ability to communicate across levels of seniority
- Strong MS Office skills
- Self-starter who is proactive and driven
- Experience in climate risk and knowledge of financial services, either as part of an institution; in an advisory or business consulting capacity to such organisations or in the regulation of such institutions
- A quantitative and/or non-quantitative background, and a balance of skills and experience from across risk management and/or modelling, and climate change
- A detailed knowledge of climate risk regulations and an awareness of broader banking regulations, market trends, competitor activity and products/services
- Experience communicating with senior management on a range of climate change, ESG and /or risk management topics

**Location**:
This role can be based in the UK (London or Belfast), Ireland (Dublin) and Toronto.
