As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Dynamics is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced **Material Handler - Forklift **to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry.

**SUMMARY**: This position reports to the Supervisor of the department. The successful applicant will be supporting all Production and Warehouse areas as a Material Handler.

This is a unionized position - Subject to assessment of skills and qualifications by Active following 90 working days.

The pay rate is $21.83/h - Shift Premium where applicable.

VACANCIES: 1 Day Shift (6:30 am-3:00 pm) & 2 Afternoon Shift (3:00 pm - 11:30 pm)

**ROLE**:

- Perform all duties according to the OHSA&R and Company Policies.
- Conducts required checks to ensure accuracy of part identification where required.
- Pick and stage material for Production and stores material in the designated warehouse areas.
- Pick and deliver packaging, bins, dunnage, racks, and related products to other departments as required by the relevant department managers.
- Advise of shortage in materials/goods to satisfy Production needs.
- Takes part and supports cycle count activities.
- Notifies Supervisor of damages/defects or other serious occurrences related to materials, equipment and facility.
- Performs housekeeping, clean-up and other 5 S related activities as required.
- Any other duties as assigned.

**DESIRED SKILLS**:

- Able to follow material handling and inventory procedures.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Team player.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience with Active Dynamics Component Parts.
- Minimum grade 12 or equivalent education.
- Written & oral aptitude in English.
- Mathematical aptitude.
- Conscientious and punctual.
- Require Lift truck license._ _
