The CAD Technician representative will perform a wide variety of drafting duties that utilize Computer-Aided Design/Drafting (CAD). Specifically, from the Auto Desk Suite.
- Performs drafting operations for the determination of project plans and collects data for Project designs.
- Prepares complex drawings for Engineering Projects.
- Develops and drafts engineering drawings and plans, drafts contract documents and generates correspondence for clients and managers.
- Maintains dynamic communication with contractors, clients, employees, engineers, and the public for any architectural, engineering or construction issues.
- Performs a range of special projects related to design as necessary.

**Qualifications and Education Requirements**
- Degree or Diploma in Engineering Design and Drafting Technology or equivalent.
- Experience with the Autodesk Suite including Inventor, AutoCAD, Fusion 365 or Similar programs like Solid works.
- Ability to fully understand and follow highly complex oral and written instructions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Must be able to work independently and in a team in a design setting.
- Enthusiastic problem solver, that is highly organized and has a keen eye for small details.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Preference would be given to individuals that have experience designing products that involve or utilize fabrics and/or plastics.
- Basic knowledge in machine design, welding and metal fabrication is preferred.
- Fluent in English, French and/or Spanish would be considered an asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $55,000.00-$60,000.00 per year

**Experience**:
