The Cannabis Consultant contributes to success in the store by providing a consistent retail floor presence, is responsible for ensuring that the retail floor consistently meets performance expectations in terms of the customer experience and retail execution. This role involves a close working relationship with the store’s supervisors, and management team.

You encourage and maintain a culture that values and exceeds the customer experience for all customers through your performance, sales, service, follow up, maintaining of the stores appearance, displays, knowledge of policies, procedure’s, being a team player, able to take directive, complete tasks and have very effective communications with customers, coworkers and management.

- Able to plan, organize and follows up on work projects on the retail floor in order to exceed customers’ expectations.
- Accountable for continuous training and development of customer loyalty.
- Accountable to achieve sales goals, productivity and customer experience targets set by the Manager.
- Team player, working with and encouraging all staff on learning new sales skills. Regularly provides informal and constructive feedback to the manager.
- Participates in all training as required.
- Communicates and ensures compliance with company policies, as well as health and safety programs and regulations.
- Maintains the utmost in professional appearance, communications and standards.
- Builds and maintains rapport with customers or vendors as required.

CPR and First aid certified would be considered an asset.

Performs other duties, as required.

**Requirements**:

- CANNSELL certified.
- Proven track record in retail sales, customer service, hospitality, or the cannabis industry.
- Good working knowledge of products and functions.
- Ability to understand and operate POS and inventory computer systems.

Full availability is required as we are retail, open 7 days a week including weekends and holidays from 9:00am to 9:00pm Sunday-Saturday. Must be available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays in a growing business.

**Physical capabilities**:
In compliance with the store’s Health and Safety Policies and Procedures:

- Standing/walking for up to 12 hours.
- Lifting and/or carrying of merchandise items, as required, on a regular, frequent and unassisted basis. Merchandise items may vary in weight from “light” to “heavy”.
- Lifting and turning repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Lifting above the shoulder, from floor to shoulder and floor to waist, twisting and or turning.
- Walking and carrying at the same time & pushing/pulling as required.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Part-time hours: 15-20 per week, with potential for more

Starting Wage: $16.55/Hr
