Camp Cedarwood is a ministry of YFC Winnipeg located 1.5 hours North East of Winnipeg in the beauty of Manitoba’s lake country. We host rental groups, run an amazing summer camp and invite students to join us in our on-site discipleship program. Each summer our goal is to share the gospel with teenagers, provide an incredible summer camp experience and build Christian community. You’re invited to join us as a missionary volunteer for our 10 weeks of summer ministry. As a summer staff you will have many opportunities to share your faith and talk about the life-giving good news of Jesus. You will get the chance to teach a skill, spend time building friendships with campers, play games, act foolish onstage and provide an amazing summer camp experience each week of the summer. You will also live in an authentic grace-filled Christian community that sees the importance of accountability, mentorship and having fun together. Living in Christian community and sharing the gospel can be a wonderful way to grow in your faith. - Lifeguards, Musicians & Game Leaders

Spending a summer at Cedarwood will give you a chance to experience a variety of ministry roles and prepare you to serve in ministry outside of the summer. Our Christian community provides accountability and discipleship opportunities to our staff. Our hope is that after serving at Cedarwood your faith has been strengthened and you go forward to serve Jesus. And to top it all off we tend to have a lot of fun while serving alongside each other

As Youth for Christ is a Christian organisation and evangelism is a core element of our summer program, all staff are required to sign a statement of faith to affirm their belief in and obedience to the central doctrines of the Christian faith. As well, he or she must live in vital union with Jesus Christ and be an active participant in a local church. Since our staff are directly involved with teens and families, applicants are required to undergo a Criminal Record Check.
