**How you will contribute as part of the TRCA team**:
Reporting to the Project Manager, Water Stewardship, the Coordinator I will deliver Partners in Project Green programming that aims to help businesses around Toronto Pearson capitalize on the social, environmental and financial benefits of water efficiency, stormwater management and waste management initiatives. Primary responsibilities include supporting business and government leaders to implement water stewardship and waste management programs, programs, monitor and report program performance, and support the execution of large-scale collective water and waste projects.

Initiated by Toronto Pearson and Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA), Partners in Project Green (PPG) is a not-for-profit community of leaders advancing environmental action and economic prosperity across the GTA. Comprised of businesses, government, institutions and utilities, PPG works to collectively advance social and environmental sustainability through knowledge sharing, technology and infrastructure implementation, and network building.

**Major Responsibilities**:

- Support the delivery of projects and programs to help businesses improve their water and waste management. This includes: program development, developing networks of vendors, and recruiting program participants. Provide technical advice to clients and facilitate the implementation of water stewardship and waste management opportunities by staying well-informed of industry trends, connecting parties, helping clients coordinate consultant and supplier site visits, digesting proposals, building project business cases, and easing access to external project funding;
- Assess and manage program performance by tracking key performance indicators and providing both input and recommendations to project manager
- Monitor and administer water stewardship and waste management targets and provide updates to the project manager.
- Secure conventional and non-conventional funding such as research contracts, fees for service, sponsorship and grants including developing and selling funding and service proposals with input from project manager.
- Monitor and administer revenue targets and provide revenue updates to the project manager.
- Assist project manager in the delivery of peer-to-peer learning group(s) including design and facilitation of productive meetings to facilitate peer-to-peer learning, coordinating meeting logistics, and creating and delivering presentations.
- Provide technical advice to participants and facilitate the implementation of water conservation / waste reduction opportunities.
- Plan and support Partners in Project Green water and waste capacity building events including identifying relevant event topics, recruiting presenters and participants.
- Develop relevant tools and resources that businesses can use to reduce their water footprint and increase waste diversion.

**What will you need to succeed**:

- Post-secondary degree or equivalent in business, administration, communications, environmental studies, or a related discipline.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Three (3) years of demonstrated experience in:

- Project management;
- Planning and coordinating projects with diverse stakeholders;
- Working on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment;
- A sustainability role or working in a not-for-profit environment.
- Track record of successful implementation of projects and events.
- Familiarity with Ontario’s water and waste management landscape and legislation.
- Familiarity with Industrial water reuse and low impact development technologies.
- Self-motivated and highly organized with a demonstrated strong commitment for the delivery of high-quality customer service under tight deadlines.
