**Job Description**:
What you’ll be doing:
- Deliver on-the-spot problem resolution advice to employees in the Business Client Center and Commercial Banking for situations which are time-sensitive, emotionally charged and/or stressful in nature.- Writing and editing formal client communications.- Build processes and procedures to streamline formal communications to our clients and ensure Reports and status updates- Work with Leaders across BCC and Commercial Banking to develop and execute measurable client communications on Commercial Care.-
- Participate as an integral member in broader teams and committees to launch communication strategies and processes for our clients that require communications plans and activities- Contribute to the protection of CIBC’s image and reputation by ensuring that CIBC’s position on client-related issues are communicated to clients and employees in a timely and effective manner- Accountable for developing and finalizing the formal communications on behalf of Commercial Care.- Responsible for creating Commercial Care’s central system for letter templates and communication procedures that can be leveraged by the Teams- Prepare weekly reports- Translate/ensure alignment of business objectives into communication priorities and objectives- Partner with the business by translating communication priorities and objectives into measurable actions to objectives- Maintain up-to-date working knowledge of CIBC’s policies and practices sufficient to respond to employees inquiries effectively which may also include regulatory aspects
How You’ll Succeed:
- Fully bilingual - requires ability to have a proper business conversation in both French and English as well as proper writing skills in both languages- Extensive communications skills, verbal, written and presentation development- Experience within a corporate communications environment- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, sufficient to deal with sensitive or moderately conflict filled situations- Expert knowledge of communications principles- Detail oriented and highly accurate- Strong judgment- Consensus builder- Conceptual thinker- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure- Proactive and results-oriented- Strong technical and advisory skills
