Service Writer

**The Service Writer will**:

- Be paid competitive wages.

- Be familiar with agriculture equipment, mechanical background considered an asset
- Greet each customer in the dealership.
- Be the liaison between the customer and the technician.
- Provide accurate estimates to customer regarding work and keep them informed on the progress of the repair
- Be responsible for generating all work orders and managing throughout their lifecycle
- Be responsible for editing and ensuring all billing is done within a timely manner
- Coordinate with the technicians to ensure parts requests are fulfilled
- Print daily walk around sheets and ensure the technicians (are aware of your expectations of them for that day - have a full day of work scheduled)
- Stay informed on outstanding campaigns on customer units and be proactive about contacting customers
- Complete a final unit inspection with the technician before the unit leaves the shop
- Have excellent problem-solving skills
- Have intermediate computer skills
- Promote loyalty and protect dealer image
- Be capable of working with all staff members
- Be required to work some Saturdays from April - November
- Assist front counter parts sales when needed

**Salary**: From $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
