**Qualifications**
- Essential:_

1. Post-secondary diploma in a legal, law enforcement or human services field (e.g., Social Service Worker) or equivalent combination of formal education, training and experience.

2. Knowledge gained through education, training and/or work experience of conflicts families may face when dealing with separation and divorce or custody and access issues.

3. Experience working in a professional capacity with families who have experienced or were exposed to domestic violence and/or intimate partner violence.

4. Strong knowledge and demonstrated effectiveness in preventing, de-escalating and managing aggressive behaviour and in handling crisis situations appropriately and effectively.

5. Experience or training in conflict resolution.

6. Understanding of child development.

7. Good communication skills (both written and oral). Able to communicate effectively with adults and children.

8. Current First Aid/CPR certification.

Preferred:
1. Previous work experience in Supervised Access, supervising parenting time and exchange transfers.

2. Own transportation to travel to and from the workplace

3. Second language an asset.
