**Primary Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Required to Set up and run engine lathe, Bridgeport mill, surface grinder, drill presses, and tapping heads.
- Familiar with the basic machining operation such as countersinking, drilling holes and honing.
- Ability to use measuring and inspection tools such as deep micrometers, vernier, measuring block and height gauges.
- Able to interpret blueprints.
- Knowledge of M2M.
- Ensure work instructions and safe work procedures are followed.
- Transfer information and knowledge across shifts as required; Work as a team to ensure completion of product in a timely manner.
- Clean and maintain work area by supporting 5S program.
- All other duties as assigned.

**Required Skills/Competencies**:

- A certificate of Qualification as a General Machinist or equivalent
- Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent;
- Ability to operate CNC machinery an asset
- Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers;
- Additional upgrading courses involving CNC technology is an asset
- Experience in the Aerospace industry is an asset
